NU Online News Service, Sept. 4, 4:35 p.m. – FISI-Madison Financial, Nashville, Tenn., a company that sells financial services and customer loyalty programs to banks, credit unions and other financial institutions, says it is changing its name to Progeny Marketing Innovations because it wants to increase sales to customers outside its traditional markets.

FISI is the product of a 1986 merger between Financial Institution Services Inc. and Madison Financial. Cendant Corp., New York, acquired the combined company in 1997.

In addition to the financial institution marketing program, FISI has a large unit that sells accident and life insurance through direct mail.
