NU Online News Service, Sept. 3, 1:30 p.m. – The Million Dollar Round Table, Park Ridge, Ill., says it has picked Richard Sullenger to serve a one-year term as president of its executive committee.

Sullenger, who is president of Sullenger Financial Group, Bakersfield, Calif., has been a general agent with GenAmerica Financial, a unit of MetLife Inc., New York, for more than 25 years.

Sullenger says his goals for MDRT will be to increase domestic membership, promote branding opportunities and strengthen participation in MDRT’s mentoring program.

Sullenger has qualified for MDRT for 31 years. He has served as MDRT’s 1996 finance committee chair, its 1993 annual meeting divisional vice president and its 1989 communications divisional vice president. He also was the 1999 Millennium Task Force chair.

Sullenger and his wife, Linda, have co-founded two charitable organizations, Couples Against Cancer and Krewe for the Arts.

The other members of the 2003 MDRT executive committee are Marvin Feldman of East Liverpool, Ohio, who will be immediate past president; George Pickett Jr. of Jackson, Miss., who will be first vice president; Adelia Chung of Honolulu, who will be second vice president; and Stephen Rothschild of St. Louis, who will be secretary.
