Thrivent Gets Official Name Approval

NU Online News Service, Aug. 28, 1:18 p.m. – Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Appleton, Wis., says it now has official permission to do business under the name Thrivent in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The Aid Association for Lutherans and Lutheran Brotherhood, two fraternal benefit societies, formed Thrivent, a fraternal benefit society with $58 billion in assets, by merging eight months ago.

New York last week became the 50th state to approve the name, Thrivent says.
