NU Online News Service, Aug. 23, 10:18 a.m. – Health Care Conference Administrators L.L.C., Seattle, has scheduled a live, 90-minute, Web-based audioconference for 1 p.m. Sept. 10 on strategies employers and health plans can use to improve health care quality.
The speakers will include Dr. Harvey Fineberg, president of the Institute of Medicine at the National Academy of Sciences; Dr. George Isham, chief health officer at HealthPartners, Minneapolis; and John Iglehart, the founding editor of the journal Health Affairs, Washington.
Two of the sponsors are the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, Chicago, and the Consumer Driven Healthcare Association, Norwalk, Conn.
