NU Online News Service, Aug. 21, 12:12 p.m. – Universal American Financial Corp., Rye Brook, N.Y., has hired Jason Israel to be chief operating officer of its CHCS Services Inc. subsidiary.
CHCS helps administer long-term care insurance programs, Medicare supplement insurance programs and other programs aimed at older consumers.
Israel previously was an insurance consultant specializing in operations, strategic planning, disaster recovery and reinsurance. Earlier, he spent 13 years at American Bankers Insurance Group, Miami.
Israel has a bachelor?fs degree in accounting from Syracuse University. He holds the Certified Public Accountant professional designation.
