MIM In Deal With Allianz

NU Online News Service, Aug. 16, 2:40 p.m. – MIM Corp., Elmsford, N.Y., a pharmaceutical benefits management company, says its BioScrip division has signed a contract with Allianz Healthcare Re, the health reinsurance unit of Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, Minneapolis.

Under the agreement, BioScrip will market specialty pharmaceutical distribution, pharmacy management services and compliance monitoring programs to health insurers, health maintenance organizations and self-insured health plans through Allianz Healthcare Re.

The BioScrip programs focus on controlling the high cost of injectable and infusion therapies for chronically ill and genetically impaired patients.

Allianz Life is a unit of Allianz A.G., Munich.
