Aug. 9, 2002 — American Century Investment Management Inc. has named Wade Slome as co-manager of its $3.8-billion American Century Select Fund (TWCIX), succeeding Ken Crawford, who left the firm in May, according to company spokeswomen Laura Kouri.

Slome joins Tim Reynolds on the Select fund’s management team.

Slome had been working as an analyst on the American Century Ultra Fund (TWCUX), a $20.6-billion portfolio.
