NU Online News Service, Aug. 6, 11:43 a.m. – Digital Insurance Inc., Atlanta, a company that sells employee benefits for small groups through the Web, says it has received $1.5 million in capital from Internet Healthcare Group L.L.C., Avon, Conn., a venture capital firm.
Digital Insurance has also hired Chuck Ristau to be its chief financial officer.
Ristau previously was chief financial officer of the Worldcrest Group, Atlanta, a company that sets up Web-based procurement systems.
Earlier, Ristau was the controller of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Company, New York, an investment firm that helped back the Worldcrest Group.
