David J. Winters, president, CEO and chief investment officer of Franklin Mutual Advisers, LLC (Mutual Series), is lead manager of Mutual European Fund and Mutual Beacon Fund. Also as the portfolio manager of Mutual Discovery Fund and Mutual Shares Fund, he follows companies in a wide variety of industries including railroads, beverages, candy, timber, media, consumer goods (both domestic and foreign), special situations, and investment companies.
