NU Online News Service, July 15, 3:45 p.m. – Dominion, an energy company based in Richmond, Va., has chosen LifeCare, Inc., an employee benefits management service in Westport, Conn., to provide work/life services to its 17,000 employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.

“Employers need strategies to attract and retain employees and keep their current staff more focused and productive,” says Nancy Cross, director of safety, employee relations, assistance and health for Dominion, “while employees require quick and efficient access to quality information and resources to help keep their work and home lives running smoothly. LifeCare offers a solution as one important component of Dominion’s work/life program.”

LifeCare services available to Dominion employees will include family programs such as adoption and prenatal care; health and welfare plans, including nutrition and exercise-fitness programs; and educational assistance from preschool through college. The services will be available to employees over the phone and via a Web site, LifeCare says.
