Legal Club Wins Agency Business

NU Online News Service, June 21, 5:11 p.m. – Legal Club of America Corp., Sunrise, Fla., says its Legal Club Financial unit has obtained an agent-of-record letter for voluntary benefits for a “national human resources outsourcing corporation” that employs 307,000 people.

Legal Club declined to name the company, but it says it will be responsible for selecting insurers, overseeing pre-enrollment communications, coming up with enrollment methods and supervising third-party administration processes.

Legal Club is also negotiating for agent-of-record letters from 13 other national companies, the company says.

Legal Club manages a national discount legal referral program. The Legal Club prepaid legal benefit plans will be a part of all the new voluntary benefits programs, the company says.
