NU Online News Service, June 18, 12:05 p.m. – Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, Hartford, a unit of Lincoln National Corp., has added three new features to its MoneyGuard series of universal life insurance policies.
The policies combine life insurance protection with long-term care protection through the use of accelerated death benefits.
One new feature is a choice of simple or compound inflation protection.
A second feature helps extend long-term care benefits for seriously ill insureds who use up their accelerated death benefits, and a third feature provides for reimbursements to be calculated on a monthly basis, rather than a daily basis.
