NU Online News Service, June 14, 12:15 p.m. – Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals, Oakland, Calif., says L. Dale Crandall, the company’s president and chief operating officer, is leaving the company to “pursue other senior management-level opportunities.”

Crandall joined the large, nonprofit managed care company in 1998 as chief financial officer and was soon promoted to president.

George Halvorson, Kaiser’s new chairman and chief executive, will take over Crandall’s responsibilities, the company says.
