Guardian Sets Up Wireless Agent Communications

NU Online News Service, June 10, 1:50 p.m. – The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, has hired iAnywhere Solutions Inc., Dublin, Calif., a unit of Sybase Inc., to set up a wireless communications system for Guardian agents and securities brokers.

Guardian is testing the system now and plans to make it available to thousands of agents later this year, iAnywhere says.
