EInsurance Gets General Manager

NU Online News Service, June 6, 10:09 a.m. – Selectica Inc., San Jose, Calif., has hired Jess Parks to be general manager of the company’s eInsurance division.

Parks will be responsible for marketing and strategy, including efforts to expand the eInsurance life insurance and property-casualty operations, Selectica says.

Parks previously was vice president of health and ancillary markets at ChannelPoint Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo., a company that sells Web-based sales and administration systems to health insurers.

Parks has also co-founded three health care companies and worked as a health care consultant, Selectica says.

Parks has a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a master’s degree in business from the University of Pennsylvania.
