NU Online News Service, June 4, 1:45 p.m. – The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, has launched two new Internet portals that give its retirement plan sponsors and plan producers self-service access to account information and other online services.

The sponsor portal provides employers with access to information about their plans as a whole, including performance and overall allocations by tax status, as well as access to individual participant accounts, permitting the sponsor to give online help to employees in managing their accounts, Guardian says.

The new producer portal provides brokers with many of the same features afforded plan sponsors, including the ability to monitor the overall, plan-level asset information and activity in their clients' retirement plans. It also offers news and information services designed to keep them current on developments in the retirement plan industry, Guardian says.
