NU Online News Service, May 30, 2:32 p.m. – The Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association Inc., Montreal, says it has elected Andre St-Amour, president of RGA Life Reinsurance Company of Canada, Montreal, chairman of the association.
The chairman-elect will be Dan Thornton, chief operating officer, of Co-operators Life Insurance Company, Regina, Saskatchewan.
Other new board members include William A. Black, president of The Maritime Life Assurance Company, Halifax, Nova Scotia; Yvon Charest, president of the Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services, Sillery, Quebec; Douglas G. Hogeboom, president of The Empire Life Insurance Company, Kingston, Ontario; Martin Kirr, president of Swiss Re Life and Health Canada, Toronto; and David Losier, general manager of Acadia Life, Caraquet, New Brunswick.
