California Unveils Privacy Reg Draft

NU Online News Service, May 24, 4:59 p.m. – The California Insurance Department has released a new draft of a privacy regulation that would address privacy requirements in the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999.

A hearing was held in Feburary to discuss the proposed regulation and a draft reflecting comments made at that hearing was released May 23.
