NU Online News Service, May 22, 11:05 a.m. – The life and benefits division of National Financial Partners Corp., Austin, Texas, a financial services distribution company, has hired Janet Deskins as vice president of product development.
Deskins will be responsible for product development, competitive analysis and product marketing.
Deskins previously was a vice president for individual actuarial services in the Atlanta office of The Canada Life Assurance Company. She also has worked for Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J., and First Colony Life Insurance Company, Lynchburg, Va.
Deskins has a bachelor’s degree in business from Georgia State University.
