NU Online News Service, May 20, 3:13 p.m. – The Regence Group, Portland, Ore., has agreed to use the Self-Direction 123 software from MyHealthBank Inc., Portland, Ore., an organizer of defined-contribution health plans, to offer its members Web-based enrollment and administration services.

Regence represents Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Utah.

Regence will be using the software for individual customers, small groups, midsize groups and large groups, MyHealthBank says.

The MyHealthBank software includes tools for setting up “personal health accounts” based on Section 105 of the federal Internal Revenue Code as well as conventional enrollment and administration tools.
