NU Online News Service, May 16, 12:22 p.m. – APO Health Inc., Oceanside, N.Y., says it has agreed to work with Nation’s Benefit Group L.L.C., Omaha, Neb., to market a prescription medicine discount service to consumers.

The card, the Nation’s Benefit Card, will offer savings of up to 40% on prescription costs at 47,000 participating pharmacies, APO says.

Participants in the Nation’s Benefit/APO discount program pay a one-time fee.

APO says the lack of an ongoing fee means its card will cost about $160 less per year than competing cards.
