NU Online News Service, May 14, 12:05 p.m. – The National Association of Managed Care Regulators, Washington, will meet June 12-14 in San Diego.
NAMCR, previously known as the National Association of HMO Regulators, is a 27-year-old organization that represents state and federal managed care regulators.
The agenda for the upcoming conference includes topics such as medical necessity, external review, prompt payment laws and quality review organizations.
The conference will also devote a full day to the “Health Blank,” a new reporting form for health insurers and other health carriers.
