NU Online News Service, May 9, 1:57 p.m. – New York Life Investment Management L.L.C., Parsippany, N.J., is now using the NYLIM Retirement Plan Services name for all of its retirement operations.

The company, a unit of New York Life Insurance Company, says it is making the change to “present a more unified corporate message.”

New York Life already uses the name NYLIM Retirement Plan Services when working with small employers, but the new name will replace New York Life Benefit Services L.L.C. in the market for large and midsize plans.

NYLIM Retirement Plan Services will keep its existing offices in Norwood, Mass., and Parsippany, N.J., the company says.

NYLIM Retirement manages $8 billion in defined contribution, defined benefit and deferred compensation plan assets.
