NU Online News Service, April 29, 1:07 p.m. – Broadvision Inc., Redwood City, Calif., says Highmark Inc., Pittsburgh, is using Broadvision portal software and commerce software to upgrade the main consumer Web site of Pennsylvania Blue Shield.
Highmark, the parent company of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Western Pennsylvania, recently acquired Pennsylvania Blue. Highmark used the Broadvision software to add the same kinds of personalized information to the Pennsylvania Blue site that were already available on Highmark’s own Western Pennsylvania Blue site, Broadvision says.
