NU Online News Service, April 25, 3:51 p.m. – CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia, says its CIGNA Group Insurance unit has hired Dr. Barton Margoshes to be chief medical officer and vice president of disability professional services.
Margoshes previously was national medical director of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Boston. He also has worked as an associate medical director at Bell Atlantic, New York, and as an internist in Richmond, Va.
Margoshes is a member of the advisory committee for the Harvard Education and Research Center for Occupational Safety and Health, and he is also on the advisory board for the Workers Compensation Research Institute, Cambridge, Mass.
