BenefitAmerica Acquires Whereiwork.com

NU Online News Service, April 25, 12:18 p.m. – BenefitAmerica, Redwood City, Calif., a benefits technology unit of UnumProvident Corp., says it has completed the acquisition of Whereiwork.com.

BenefitPoint Inc., San Francisco, previously acquired Whereiwork.com, a benefits technology company, from the Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc., New York, in August 2001

BenefitAmerica has hired Gabrielle Vetrone, the head of Whereiwork, to be a senior vice president for product management and marketing.
