NU Online News Service, April 25, 6:13 p.m. – AIG SunAmerica, Los Angeles, a unit of American International Group Inc., has announced its senior management lineup.

AIG SunAmerica drew up the list as a result of efforts to absorb the recently acquired SunAmerica and American General Corp. businesses with AIG’s own operations.

The five executives, who will all be senior vice presidents at AIG SunAmerica, are Michael Akers, Mary Cavanaugh, Randall Epright, Anne Franklin and N. Scott Gillis.

AIG says it made the promotions in connection with the integration of the recently acquired SunAmerica and American General Corp. businesses.

Akers, one of the American General executives, will be the chief actuary, and Cavanaugh, another American General executive, will be the chief legal officer.

Epright, a SunAmerica alumnus, will be the chief information officer, and Gillis, a fellow SunAmerica alum, will be the controller.

Franklin, who started with AIG, will be in charge of human resources.
