Ceres Chairman To Retire In 2003

NU Online News Service, April 16, 11:31 a.m. – Ceres Group Inc., Cleveland, says Peter Nauert, the company’s chairman and president, is retiring from active management duties.

Nauert will continue to be chairman until June 2003, but he will retire as president when Ceres finds a replacement, the company says.

Ceres says the arrangement will lead to a one-time charge of $2.5 million.

Ceres sells supplemental health insurance and life and health products aimed at consumers over age 55.
