Actuaries Hire Media Relations Manager

NU Online News Service, April 11, 2:12 p.m. – The American Academy of Actuaries, Washington, has hired Chris Robichaux to manage its media relations operation.

Robichaux previously was public information officer for the Fairfax County, Va., sheriff’s office.

Before that, he spent 10 years working in media relations for members of the U.S. House of Representatives. He was the communications director of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee under Rep. G.V. Montgomery, D-Miss., and press secretary for Rep. W.J. Tauzin, R-La.
