Wing To Head Health Net California

NU Online News Service, April 10, 3:15 p.m. – Health Net Inc., Los Angeles, has hired Christopher Wing to be president of Health Net of California, a managed care unit that provides major medical coverage for 2.4 million people.

Previously, Wing was western region vice president for PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., Santa Ana, Calif., and president of PacifiCare of California, one of the largest health plans in California.

Wing has also worked for managed care units of WellPoint Health Networks Inc., Thousand Oaks, Calif.; Prudential Financial Corp., Newark, N.J.; and Maxicare Health Plans Inc., Los Angeles.
