NU Online News Service, March 21, 2:42 p.m. – The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, has named Richard Mucci senior vice president and director of employer markets for its group benefits division.
Mucci will manage sales and distribution, marketing, product management, underwriting and pricing for Hartford’s group life, disability, special risk and accident products sold to the employer markets, the company says.
Mucci previously was a senior vice president in the individual disability business at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Springfield, Mass. He was also a chief actuary and chief operating officer with The Paul Revere Insurance Group.
Mucci has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Boston College. He is a fellow in the Society of Actuaries, Schaumburg, Ill.
