New York Life Names Life Marketing Chief

NU Online News Service, Mar. 20, 12:13 p.m. – New York Life Insurance Company, New York, has named Patricia Spencer Favreau chief marketing officer for its life and annuity operations.

Favreau is responsible for product marketing and strategy, marketing and communications services and business development efforts that support New York Life's core lines of business.

Previously, Favreau was the vice president in charge of the communications division of the company's agency department. She helped developing strategies for communicating with the company's 6,800 agents.

Favreau has also been the corporate vice president and chief marketing officer for NYLIFE Securities Inc., the broker/dealer for New York Life.

Before joining New York Life, Favreau was a lawyer in private practice in the Washington office of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. and the New York office of Donovan, Leisure, Newton & Irvine.

Favreau has a bachelor's degree from Amherst College and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
