First Penn-Pacific Hires Chief Actuary

NU Online News Service, March 18, 1:58 p.m. – First Penn-Pacific Life Insurance Company, Schaumburg, Ill., has hired Christopher Nickele as vice president and chief actuary for product development.

Nickele will be responsible for helping to develop individual life insurance products and manage reinsurance relationships. He will also oversee the company’s life actuarial, state compliance and communications operations.

Nickele, who has 22 years of insurance experience, has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Notre Dame. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

First Penn is a unit of Lincoln National Corp., Fort Wayne, Ind.
