NU Online News Service, Feb. 6, 10:29 a.m. – EAgency Systems Inc., Newport Beach, Calif., is adding Corporate E-mail PLUS service from Cingular Wireless L.L.C., Atlanta, to its wireless information exchange system for insurance agents and other financial advisors, Cingular says.

The eAgency WIX system handles wireless voice and data communications. Agents who are in the field can use the system to get up-to-date reports and send sales updates to their desktop computers.

Now that eAgency has added Cingular e-mail service, financial services companies can use the WIX system to give agents wireless access to Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes corporate e-mail, eAgency says.

The package is available on RIM handhelds through Cingular’s national Mobitex-based packet data network.

Cingular Wireless is a joint venture owned by SBC Communications Inc., San Antonio, and BellSouth Corp., Atlanta.

EAgency provides Internet and wireless services for 740,000 life agents.
