Columbus Life Hires Two More Regional Execs

NU Online News Service, Feb. 1, 2:55 p.m. – Columbus Mutual Life Insurance Company, Cincinnati, has hired two more regional marketing executives.

The company has hired Kenneth Langtimm as distribution vice president for the western region, and James Lucius as regional marketing director for the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.

Langtimm will be responsible for recruiting and supporting producers and broker/dealers within his region.

Langtimm previously was vice president and national sales manager at First Variable Life Insurance Company, Chicago. He is a graduate of St. Ambrose University and holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations.

Lucius, who will be responsible for selling insurance, has been an independent personal producing general agent in the Dallas area. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University and holds the CLU designation.

Earlier this week, Columbus Life announced the hiring of James Martin as regional marketing director for its northeastern region.

Columbus Life is a unit of the Western-Southern Financial Group Inc.
