Ebix Offering Web-Based Agency Management System

NU Online News Service, Jan. 22, 4:03 p.m. – Ebix.com Inc., Atlanta, has introduced ebixASP.com, an insurance agency administration system that runs on the Web and standard wireless data networks.

Agencies that subscribe to the service can handle tasks such as processing requests for quotes through any computer that can reach the Web, and any cellular telephone or hand-held computer that can handle the Wireless Access Protocol, ebix says.

Ebix says it will handle the job of converting data on old agency computer systems to the ebixASP format.
