NU Online News Service, Jan. 9, 4:03 p.m. – Security American Financial Enterprises, Minnetonka, Minn., says Susan Albrecht, the president and chief executive, has resigned to take a job with another insurance company.

Security American has hired J. Stephen Beckman, 65, a retired insurance executive who has served on the Security American board since 1994, to be the interim chief executive.

Security American is the holding company for Security Life Insurance Company of America, a company that sells dental and vision insurance.

Beckman has served as chief executive of three life insurance companies, and as a consultant with McKinsey & Company Inc., Security American says.

Albrecht will continue to be a member of the Security American board while the company searchers for a permanent chief executive, the company says.
