Life Settlement Company Starts Up In Minnesota

NU Online News Service, Jan. 4, 3:25 p.m. – A group of investors has started Living Benefits Financial Services L.L.C., Minnetonka, Minn., a life settlement company.

A life settlement company buys the rights to life insurance policy benefits from consumers. Living Benefits will specialize in arranging life settlements for policyholders over age 65, Living Benefits says.

Living Benefits has access to $400 million in credit and believes it can arrange more than $1 billion in life settlements over the next two years, the company says.

Company founders include Paul Moe, the chairman; Kenneth Klein, the president; and Suzanne Moe.
