NU Online News Service, Dec. 12, 1:38 p.m. – CNA LTC, Nashville, Tenn., has improved two of its long-term care policies in California to meet the recently passed requirements of California Senate Bill 870.

The new products are based on the CNA Preferred Advantage and Preferred Solutions products.

CNA removed the mental health exclusion from the Preferred Advantage product series, revised nonforfeiture benefits that provide for a minimum nursing facility benefit after three years of premium payment, and redefined simple and compound inflation computations, CNA says.
