CareFirst Agrees To Cover Laser Psoriasis Treatments

NU Online News Service, Dec. 11, 11:33 a.m. – PhotoMedex Inc., Radnor, Pa., says CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Owings Mills, Md., has agreed to cover treatment of mild to moderate psoriasis using the PhotoMedex XTRAC laser system.

CareFirst is the 11th Blue Cross and Blue Shield company that has agreed to cover medically necessary use of the laser system, PhotoMedex says.
