NU Online News Service, Dec. 7, 10:52 a.m. – CMIdirect.net, Sunland, Calif., has agreed to sell “Instant Term” life insurance from American Life Insurance Company of New York through its own Web site, at http://www.readyquote.com
CMIdirect will also sell the American Life term coverage through financial institution Web sites.
Customers who pass a quick, online screening process can buy three months of immediate coverage from American Life through the CMIdirect sites, CMIdirect says.
While the temporary coverage is in effect, American Life will collect complete underwriting information, then decide whether to issue full 10-year or 20-year term coverage, CMIdirect says.
American Life, subsidiary of Inviva Inc., New York, is licensed to sell insurance in all 50 states, CMIdirect says.
