NU Online News Service, Dec. 6, 11:32 a.m. – Aetna Inc., Hartford, has named Ronald Olejniczak vice president and controller.
Olejniczak will report to Alan Bennett, the chief financial officer.
Olejniczak will direct accounting activities for financial and statutory reporting.
Olejniczak joined Aetna in 1995 as director of corporate accounting policy. He became head of consolidated financial reporting, analysis and policy in 1997.
Before Olejniczak joined Aetna, he was manager of financial reporting and accounting policy at Shawmut National Corp., Boston, and senior audit manager at Price Waterhouse.
Olejniczak has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Canisius College. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York.
