NU Online News Service, Nov. 21, 11:52 ?.m. – Hartford Life Insurance Company, Simsbury, Conn., is sponsoring the Hartford Ski Spectacular, a large winter festival for people with physical disabilities, for the eighth consecutive year.
More than 700 skiers with disabilities will gather for the event in Breckenridge, Colo., from Dec. 2 through Dec. 9.
Disabled Sports USA, the organizer, is also setting up clinics aimed at teaching people how to handle their disabilities.
Hartford Life also invites some producers and customers to the event to show them the value of sports in rehabilitation.
Celebrity guests include members of the U.S. Disabled Alpine Ski Team and Casey Martin, a professional golfer.
