NU Online News Service, Nov. 16, 1:25 p.m. – Insurance companies nationwide have begun petitioning state authorities for permission to exclude acts of terrorism from home, car and life insurance policies, reports The Washington Post. Ace and American International Group and smaller companies like Springfield Fire & Casualty have lodged claims with state insurance commissions, according to the Post.
