Delaware Helps Launch Full-Service Retirement Plan

NU Online News Service, Oct. 25, 12:19 p.m. – Delaware Management Holdings Inc., Philadelphia, and Legg Mason Wood Walker Inc., Baltimore, are teaming up to sell a new, full-service retirement plan.

The Legg Mason/Delaware SelectSolutions Advantage retirement plan is aimed at companies with at least 100 employees or $1 million in pension assets.

The plan offers 51 investment fund options from Delaware, Legg Mason and seven outside money managers, Delaware says.

Legg Mason will handle sales, and Delaware will handle administration.

Delaware, a unit of Lincoln National Corp., Fort Wayne, Ind., will provide recordkeeping services, Web-based enrollment and account access services, employee education materials, and telephone-based customer service.
