NU Online News Service, Oct. 19, 1:27 p.m. – CNA Financial Corp., Chicago, says it has hired an expert in financial services mergers and acquisitions as a top corporate officer.
The company has named Adam Hodes to the newly created position of executive vice president of corporate strategic planning.
Hodes will handle risk assessment, use of capital, and company-wide strategies, CNA says.
Hodes previously was director of investment banking for financial institutions at Credit Suisse First Boston Corp., New York, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Corp., New York.
Hodes helped financial institutions raise capital, complete mergers and acquisitions, and bring in new customers.
