N.J. Insurance Commissioner Steps Down

NU Online News Service, Oct. 18, 8:30 a.m. – N.J. Insurance Commissioner Karen Suter has resigned to accept an appointment as judge for the Burlington County Superior Court, the state Department. of Banking and Insurance says.

The appointment by acting Gov. Donald T. DiFrancesco was effective Monday.

Don Bryan, who heads the department’s insurance division, will serve as acting commissioner for insurance until the governor names a replacement.
