Arkansas Life Industry Leader To Head CFP Program

NU Online News Service, Oct. 16, 2:25 p.m. – The Certified Planner Board of Standards Inc., Denver, has elected Fredrick Adkins III to serve as its chair-elect of its Board of Governors starting Jan. 1, 2002.

The CFP board runs the Certified Financial Planner designation program.

Adkins is chief executive of The Arkansas Financial Group Inc., Little Rock, Ark. In addition to the CFP designation, he holds the Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter designations.

He is a past president of the Central Arkansas Life Underwriters Association.

Adkins holds a bachelor’s degree from Harding College and a master’s degree in business from the University of Mississippi.
