Brookman Handling NY Life Institutional Investment Services

NU Online News Service, Oct. 3, 3:58 p.m. – New York Life Investment Management L.L.C., Parsippany, N.J., a unit of New York Life Insurance Company, has put Marc Brookman in charge of a new unit that will sell institutional investment management services.

Brookman, a senior managing director at New York Life Investment, previously was head of the company’s retirement services unit.

Brookman will also be responsible for managing the high net worth and individual retirement account rollover operations.

Barry Schub will succeed Brookman as head of retirement services.

Schub previously was a vice president at E*Trade Group Inc., Menlo Park, Calif. Before that, he was head of retirement plan services at United Asset Management Corp., Boston.
