WellPoint And San Diego Doctors Join Forces To Reduce Costs

NU Online News Service, Oct. 2, 4:48 p.m. – WellPoint Health Networks Inc., Thousand Oaks, Calif., and the California Health Alliance, San Diego, a not-for-profit affiliate of the San Diego County Medical Society, have formed a new initiative to help San Diego County physicians reduce administrative costs with new technology and educate them about new clinical care practices.

Key activities include reducing administrative burdens and adopting new technologies and physician/patient education.
